Drug Safety and Savings

As a Health Alliance Medicare HMO or PPO member with prescription drug coverage, you have access to these free programs that help ensure prescription drug safety and help you save on pharmacy costs.

Visit Healthy Programs to learn about how we help members get healthy and stay healthy.

See Help While You’re Traveling for more information on our free emergency services provided through Assist America.

Even if you don’t have prescription coverage, you can get a discount when filling prescriptions by showing your Health Alliance Medicare ID card at the pharmacy.

Walmart and Sam’s Club

Members with pharmacy coverage get Tier 1 prescription drugs at Walmart and Sam’s Club for $0. Tier 1 Preferred Generics include most generic medications. Though Walmart and Sam’s Club are Preferred Pharmacies, members can receive drugs at any of our in-network pharmacies.

DailyMed

If you take multiple medications, we offer the free DailyMed program. Watch the video below to learn more.

  • Pre-sorted dosing packets delivered to your home each month to ensure the right dose at the right time.
  • Gives your and your family peace of mind.
  • Costs the same as your plan’s regular prescription copayments.

For more information about DailyMed, please call 1-866-720-9855 or visit www.DailyMedRx.com.

First Fill Free

You can get your first 30-day fill of any chronic Tier 1 or Tier 2 medication for free. (Antibiotics, pain medications and short-term/periodic medications aren’t eligible.) Remember, prescription drugs listed as Tier 1 and Tier 2 on our Medicare Part D Formulary offer the same value as their brand-name counterparts, but at a lower copayment.

My Drug Benefit

You can view your pharmacy claims and copayment information at www.healthalliance.org. You can also compare costs and drug information for the medications you take, and even find ways to save money.

Medication Therapy Management

If you have a chronic condition and take several drugs, we have personalized help to make sure you take your medications as the doctor prescribes, to solve problems that might come up with your medications and to make sure taking different medications at the same time is safe.
